I was/still am a fan of 13 year old Ruby Johnson, who was receiving treatment for neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer.

I first met Ruby when asked if I would do a series of photos for her and her family for a press release.

After that first meeting, she captured not only the lens, but my heart. She was a rare person, indeed. This Gallery is dedicated to her.
